Taking full advantage of the sunny summer weather that has stayed with us and an extra day off resulting in an unexpected long weekend we decided to head north to the North Coast Holiday Park at Bonny Hills about 40 km south of Port Macquarie with our camper trailer.
There is so much coastline we haven’t explored before and this is another of them. I’ve talked in previous posts that i would have driven past this coastline probably 3 or 4 times a year and never taken the exit road off the freeway usually because we are heading north to family and there just isn’t time, so we were keen to get out and explore.
Sitting just below the caravan park we were staying in, is Spooney’s Bay. I had recently acquired some new gear – NiSi Filters which help with keeping exposures more even or to enable long exposure shots when you wouldn’t normally be able to straight on your camera.
I headed down to Spooney’s to give them a run and also hoping for a bit of a sunset.
I have to say that i am very very happy with my purchase, and am looking forward to getting to know them better.
